Each piece of Ozark Impressions Jewelry is impressed with nature findings from the Ozark Region where I grew up and continue to live. Every texture reminds me of a hike along an Ozark trail; a creek, river, or cave explored; or a sweet creature that shared these hills with me. I want the wearer to feel a bit of the magic and nostalgia I’ve felt exploring this place, and carry it with them wherever their journey takes them.
My work tells a story; botanicals, fossils, and once living creatures intertwined with our own stories. A celebration and reminder to appreciate the intricate details found in nature; every creature, great and small. Each one-of-a-kind focal bears my own makers mark, and often my fingerprints can be found to have survived the high fire temps of my kiln. A symbol of the connection each of us has in our own exploration through this time and space.
