Deschutes Jasper Marquise is supported by the most romantic Entolasia Botanical Impression, and framed by my favorite sunray-like Brachiopod Fossil Impression. This Entolasia was collected on a hike in South Central Texas, and the Brachiopod impression came from a river in the Arkansas section of the Ozarks.

Every texture reminds me of a hike along an Ozark trail; a creek, river, or cave explored; or a sweet creature that shared these hills with me. My work tells a story; botanicals, fossils, and once living creatures intertwined with our own stories.
