Big or Small, I love them All | March Meet the Maker | Day 10

When I began making metal art jewelry in 2016, I strictly worked with silver.

Silver is probably my favorite metal, by far, but I wanted to provide a price point that anyone shopping at my booth could afford. It was really the idea of #artforall before I knew that was a thing. So, I scaled my metal line to include bronze (a close second favorite to silver;), copper, and white copper. *White copper is a great alternative to silver, but not so great if you’re allergic to nickel (buyer beware…I mark all white copper as containing nickel for safety’s sake)

Occasionally, I get folks at my booth who want a very specific style, size, or something that I simply don’t make. I do try my best to work out a custom if someone is interested in incorporating my style, but it’s kinda like dinner at my booth. You have two options; take it or leave it. 😂 & I’m ok with that!

I like big earrings, dainty earrings, and just about anything in between. These desert Jasper with Brachiopod fossil impressions are stunners, but not everyone can handle such a chunker 😂 For the dainty lobes out there, I have the teeniest little larimar studs. I also make my metal super thin for these tiny bronze Sandstone impression hexagons, and they’re super affordable!

I have inexpensive options (the bronze hexagons are $24, & silver Brachiopod fossil studs are $38), and pricier items are around $160 (although I have a handful of killer stone earrings for $200-$240 😬…they’ll find the right home someday. For now, they can hang out with me as long as it takes 😂)

Tell me, do you like chunky or tiny earrings best, or does it just depend on the occasion?
